Welcome to our garden and cooking journey! We’re so glad you’re here.

Our Story

Our focus for this site is to share our love of backyard gardening. We believe that part of what makes a successful garden is sharing what we’ve learned—what worked and what did not work. Our little garden hobby has continued to expand and has taken on a life of its own. It has brought us so much joy, and really, nothing beats going to the garden in the morning with a ladder to check out what’s growing up.

We also wanted to share what we do with what we grow. Hence, the cooking side of our garden hobby journey.

What We Share

From the Garden: We document our gardening experiences—both the successes and the failures. Our goal is to help other backyard gardeners learn from our experiments and find what works in their own space.

From the Kitchen: As busy working parents with kids, we know how challenging it can be to put dinner on the table. That’s why you’ll find plenty of simple dinners and grab-and-go lunches here. On weekends or when we celebrate with friends and family, we tend to make more complex meals—and we’ll share those too.

We hope our stories inspire you to get your hands dirty, try something new, and enjoy the fruits (and vegetables) of your labor. Happy gardening and cooking!
